Constructed from natural timbers and utilising the talents of local craftsmen to create beautiful furniture, the roomy stylish area offers an in-house restaurant offering delicious cuisine for all tastebuds (vegetarians are particularly well catered for), while the bar offers non alcoholic and alcoholic local and craft elixirs, beers, wine and cocktails.
Internet facilities provide a link to the rest of the world for those who can’t totally escape it and there is a shop selling the necessities of life along with a gallery of locally produced works of art and handicrafts.
A selection of board games provide a distraction from the mesmerising ocean views from the deck, or choose from the comprehensive rainforest reference library and book exchange in the lounge, to while away an afternoon. The tour desk will assist you with expert local knowledge in arranging tours of the region.
The lower level of the longhouse offers a second covered, rainforest view deck with hammocks for outside lounging in all weathers.
